A lawyer for one of the three people accused of tying an Anderson County toddler to her bed wants a change of venue in the case.
According to the Anderson News, police say Rebecca Jackson and Carolyn Case tied Jackson's three-year-old girl in her bed for up to 16 hours a day as a form of discipline.
According to the indictment, the girl's stepfather, Herbert Medley, knew what was going on, so he is also facing charges.
A public defender in the case says he wants the trial moved because he is concerned about the amount of publicity the case has generated.
