Lawyers To Use PTSD Diagnosis In Defense For Madison County Murder Suspect

The lawyers for a Madison County woman accused of murder say they plan to use her diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder as part of her defense.

That's according to the Richmond Register. In addition, Christina Tompkins Marcum and Jason Singleton will be tried separately in the slaying and dismemberment of Singleton's wife, Angela Frazier-Singleton.

The murder happened in January, 2011. The Singletons had only been married for about a month.
