Level Two Snow Emergency Continues In Henry County

A level two snow emergency remains in effect in Henry County, according to a release from Kentucky State Police Tuesday morning.

Most roadways in Henry County are snow covered and extremely slick and hazardous. Officials are insisting the public to refrain from travel while only essential government personnel are out operating to improve conditions.

Police say I-71 is mostly clear and passable, but the roadway is wet and remains slick. Secondary roads in Henry County are at times impassable due to high snow drifts.

All secondary roads in the Post 5 area (Gallatin, Owen, Trimble, Carroll, & Oldham) are snow covered and hazardous. Road crews continue to work to clear the hazardous roadways.
