A Lexington driver is dead after slamming into a guardrail in western Kentucky.
The crash happened just after 6:00 Saturday morning in Hopkins County.
Police say the driver was going north on I-69 when the car veered off the road and crashed head-on into a guardrail.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the road was shut down for about an hour and a half.
No names have been released.
