A Lexington business was burglarized early Monday morning.
Police say officers responded to a burglar alarm at a Marathon gas station along Georgetown Road around 3:30 a.m. When they arrived, officers found the glass front door broken out and an empty cash drawer lying on the ground.
Police say the burglar did not get away with any cash, but stole several thousand of dollars worth of cigarettes.
Police brought in a K-9 unit to search the area, but the dog did not pick up a scent.
