Police say the pictures Nicholas Christiansen was swapping on an internet chat site landed him behind bars. Investigators say the images Christiansen was sending showed underage females.
Lexington Police say back in August, a computer i-p address popped onto police radar because of suspicious activity. After getting a subpoena, investigators tracked it to a Lexington home, where police say Christiansen was using a friend's computer.
Detectives say the 22-year old admitted trading pornographic pictures and videos of underage girls through the internet sites "frostwire-dot-com" and "the gnuttella network."
Police say so far, they've found 21 images and two videos, each of girls without clothing, engaged in sexual activity.
Christiansen is charged with two counts each of of possessing and distributing child porn. The investigation into who he was trading with is ongoing.
