A woman suspected in pharmacy robberies in Lexington and Georgetown will face a judge in Fayette County.
Deputies in Hardin County arrested Anita A. Jaynes,37, last May. According to court documents, investigators identified Jaynes as the woman who robbed the Rite Aid pharmacy on South Broadway on April 29. Police say Jaynes walked into the store, implied a weapon and demanded pills. According to court documents, she robbed the Rite Aid in Georgetown the next day.
She faces a robbery charge in Fayette County for the South Broadway robbery.
According to court documents, police also charged Jaynes with burglary. Investigators say she went into a home she had earlier been hired to clean, and stole $15,000 worth of jewelry and electronics.
