Lexington Police have made an arrest in the weekend murder of a taxi cab driver.

John Davis Cherry, 29, is charged with Murder, Unlawful Imprisonment and several drug offenses in the shooting death of Amine Lemghaili. The 28-year-old was found dead inside his taxi Sunday morning on Hedgewood Court.

Investigators say Cherry was arrested shortly after the murder, but on unrelated charges.
