Lexington police arrested a man Thursday afternoon in connection with a gas station robbery earlier that morning.
According to court documents, Aaron D. Butler, 22, asked two men to drive him to the Shell station on Saron Drive so he could buy a cigar. Police say he pulled a knife and robbed the clerk instead. According to court documents, Butler forced the two men to drive him away from the scene. He got out of the car before police pulled it over at the intersection of Victoria Way and Expo Drive.
Officers later arrested Butler at a home along Laredo Drive and charged him with robbery.
