Lexington police have arrested a third person in connection with a May 2013 murder case.
Court records list Lazeric D. Givens, 41, as a suspect in a deadly shooting stemming from a botched drug deal. Police say several people tied up 26-year-old Jered Taylor with duct tape, and shot him when he broke free and tried to run. A neighbor later found Taylor's body on a front porch along Carver Avenue.
Police arrested Darryl Stewart Jr., 25, and charged him with murder a short time after the shooting. Officers also arrested Latasha Parks last June and charged her with facilitation to commit murder.
Police arrested Givens Wednesday and charged him with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
