A Lexington police officer was injured after a scuffle on Loch Ness Drive Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to an apartment for a domestic disorder. Police say James Logan Jackson didn't want to obey commands and was tazered. An officer was injured while trying to handcuff Jackson. That officer was taken to Central Baptist for stitches to his knee after he was cut by broken glass.
Jackson faces several charges including third degree assault.
Jackson's girlfriend told LEX 18 that the incident was a misunderstanding, that she was having a bad dream and it may have sounded like a domestic disturbance, but it wasn't and that there was no assault.
