Lexington Police have released more details on the deadly accident between a fire truck and a pedestrian downtown Saturday night.

The accident happened at about 10 p.m. at Broadway and Main Street. Investigators say a firefighter with the Lexington Fire Department was turning without emergency lights or sirens when Lauren Woodall Roady was hit and killed.

LEX 18 has learned that Roady was in town with her teammates from the Washington, D.C.-area "Georgetown Running Club" to compete in the national cross country race. She was 27-years-old.

The full report on the accident should be complete by early 2013. If you saw the crash, you're asked to call the collision reconstruction unit at (859) 258-3679.
