Lexington Police are searching for a suspect in an attempted robbery.

It happened around 5:30 a.m. at the Rite Aid on Malabu Drive near Nicholasville Road. Police said a delivery truck was parked behind the business and workers were assisting in unloading the truck when the suspect walked in the back door. It's believed he may have been armed with a knife. We're told he threatened several employees and tried to take one of the supply containers that was being delivered, but could not. He ran away empty-handed.

Police said the suspect was wearing a camoflauge jacket, blue jeans and had a brown paper bag over his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lexington Police.
