Lexington Police Search For Two Suspects In Jewelry Store Robbery

Lexington Police are working to identify and locate two individuals connected to robbery at a jewelry store earlier this month.

The robbery happened on March 2 at approximately 2 p.m. Officers were called to Alexandria's Jewelry Store in response to a robbery. Officers were informed that two suspects entered the store and spent a short amount of time browsing the display cases before committing the robbery.

According to witnesses, the two suspects - one armed with a gun, the other with pepper spray - assaulted a store employee and stole numerous pieces of jewelry from the business, before fleeing on foot.
