Lexington police were busy early sunday morning working two bad accidents.

Just after midnight, a man riding with some other bikers north on Richmond Road hit a median.

Police say 31 year old Jeremy Caudill had been drinking. Despite wearing a helmet, Caudill suffered severe head trauma.

Then just before 3 a.m., police say a Volvo on High Street near Rupp Arena hit another car, which was pushed into a group of pedestrians.

Several people were taken to the hospital, including one with life-threatening injuries.
