Lexington police made arrests in two drunk driving accidents that happened within less than 30 minutes of each other, just miles apart.

Police say a woman driving along Nicholasville Road near the UK campus around 3 a.m. crashed her car into a tree. Police say it was unclear whether she lost control of the car, or simply drove off the road. The driver wasn't hurt. Officers say Katherine Alberta Saettel, 22, failed sobriety tests. They arrested her and charged her with DUI.

Less than 30 minutes later, a man lost control of his vehicle along Export Drive and slammed into a tree. He was also uninjured. Police arrested Fieldin Graham Denny, 19, and charged him with DUI.
