KU is reporting nearly 1900 homes are without power near north and downtown Lexington Sunday morning.

The outage is having an affect on traffic lights from Newtown Pike starting from Ash St. out to I75 and North Broadway from Jefferson St to West Loudon Ave.

Lexington police would like to remind everyone to treat lights out at intersections as four-way stops.

The cause of the outage has not been determined and no time frame is currently available. Keep reading Lex18.com for more information as the story develops.
