Lexington School Locked Down After Reports Of Shots In Area

A short lockdown at Arlington Elementary in Lexington has been lifted after the all-clear was given after shots reportedly were fired in the area at about 4 p.m.

A few squad cars were dispatched to Devonia Avenue but didn't find anything.

After school programs were letting out when the principal heard what sounded like gunshots.

The lockdown began around 4:05 p.m., including 30 kids, 20 staff and parents who were picking the kids up.

The lockdown lasted about 10 minutes.
