Authorities cited a Lexington strip club after a raid early Friday morning.
Lexington police, fire department officials and agents with Alcohol Beverage Control performed a sweep of Camelot West on Alexandria Drive Drive around 1 a.m. Everybody was taken out of the club into the parking lot as officials inspected the building.
Officials say the ABC investigation stemmed from a recent history of disorders on the property, and the Lexington fire marshal was concerned about issues with the club's capacity.
Authorities say there were too many people inside the club at the time of the sweep.
Officials say both the ABC and the fire marshal issued citations, and things went back to business as usual about an hour later.
