UK inked another defensive prospect, this one out of talent rich Florida.

Demarius Rancifer, a 6-foot-2 210 pound linebacker out of Catholic High School in Pensacola, signed Wednesday afternoon.

Rivals.com ranks Rancifer as a top-100 Sunshine State player and the No. 44 outside linebacker in the nation. Coaches describe him as a "tackling machine". He finished his senior season with 177 tackles.

Rancifer played in the Subway East-West All-Star game, helping West to a 24-0 shutout.
