Camp Nelson Cemetery in Jessamine County held a special Veteran's Day ceremony.
The keynote speaker was retired Army Lt. Colonel Robert Hagen. The crowd gathered around the flagpole Saturday morning.
One long-retired veteran says this year he's giving thanks back to the community that's supported him.
"What they do for the veterans is unbelievable. It really is. It's just a 'Thanks, Thanks, Thanks,' for what the citizens do for us," says Jack Armacost, a Korean Conflict Veteran.
Armacost and other veterans gave a special thanks to the new generation of servicemen and women.
