Sue Wylie, a former LEX 18 anchor and current talk show host on WVLK-590 AM, announced her retirement on her show Monday.
Wylie is one of Kentucky's best-known, most-respected and popular broadcast personalities. Her insightful, and entertaining interviews have earned her many distinguished broadcast honors, including the coveted "Mike Award" from the Kentucky Broadcasters Association, and a place in the University of Kentucky's "Broadcast Hall of Fame." Her reputation is unrivaled as a savvy, insightful and always entertaining interviewer.
Wylie started at LEX 18 as the first female anchor in Lexington in 1968. She retired from LEX 18 in 1998.
Wylie said her last day at WVLK will be March 29.
