A 12-year-old Louisville boy shot during a prank Monday night is improving.
Jacob Eberle is stable, but both of his lungs are collapsed. Friends say Eberle and a group of kids were playing "ding, dong, ditch", a game where you ring a door bell and run away at about 10 p.m. on Monday.
Police say that's when 56-year-old Michael Bishop pulled out a gun and fired a shot. Eberle was hit by buck shot and taken to Kosair Children's Hospital.
Bishop is charged with attempted murder. He's set to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon.
