Officials have released the name of the woman killed in a Madison County crash Tuesday evening.
The Madison County coroner says Melissa Horn, 25, of Jackson County, was pronounced dead at the scene after her pickup truck crashed into a minivan.
Police say the accident happened around 5 p.m. along a stretch of KY-21 east of Berea known as Big Hill Road. Horn's three children were injured in the accident. They were airlifted to UK Hospital, along with the driver of the minivan.
According to officials, the children's ages are 4, 7 and 8 years old.
Authorities say one child was in critical condition, and medical staff were treating the two others for serious injuries.
They called the minivan driver's injuries non-life threatening.
