According to her obituary, 9-month-old Bella Marcum had 4 other sisters. Now one of them is indicted in her death.
Jessica Marcum was indicted on the charge of capital murder Wednesday.
According to the indictment, Jessica Marcum killed her 9-month-old sister in June by suffocating her.
Bella's obituary described her as a great baby with a zest for life and an inquisitive nature, one who loved her family, music and showed everyone around her the joys of the simple things of life.
According to the Richmond Register, Marcum's case was moved from juvenile court to circuit court so she could be tried as an adult. Marcum was in a "caretaker role" when the baby died, according to the paper.
Marcum will be arraigned on her capital murder charge Oct. 17. Kentucky State Police couldn't comment on the case because it deals with a juvenile.
