A Magoffin County man was killed in an early-morning crash Monday.

The accident happened just before 5 a.m. on Kentucky 114 in Magoffin County. State Police say Rodney Humphery, 31, of Salyersville was traveling east when he lost control of his vehicle. Humphery's vehicle exited the right side of the roadway, entered the ditch and overturned.

Humphery was pronounced deceased at the scene by Magoffin County Deputy Coroner Brian Parker.

The accident remains under investigation.
