A MAJOR WINTER STORM will be very close to us Christmas night and Wednesday. At this point it looks to be that...close.
There are Blizzard Watches in the Paducah area to Evansville...Winter Storm Watches across Indiana and Ohio just north of both Louisville and Cincinnati. These will eventually become Winter Storm Warnings like what is up in Arkansas already.
Very heavy snow will cause significant travel problems in many areas to our north and west Christmas night and especially Wednesday.
For us, it is looking like mostly rain Wednesday with a changeover to light accumulating snow later Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Stay with LEX 18 for updates.
