Male Model Accused Of Assaulting Police Officer Turns Himself In

The search is over for a man accused of assaulting a Lexington Police officer Sunday afternoon. Bryce Ricketts, 20, turned himself in Sunday night.

Police say Ricketts was pulled over on I-64 East near the 82 mile-marker for a routine traffic stop when he got out of his car, punched an officer and sped off.

Authorities in Montgomery and Clark Counties were put on alert for Ricketts after he fled from the officer.

A warrant was issued for his arrested shortly after the incident.

The officer was not seriously hurt.

Ricketts is a model and a graudate of Montgomery County High School, according to his personal Facebook page.

Ricketts turned himself into Lexington Police on Lexington Avenue around 9:00 Sunday night.

Ricketts faces several charges including wanton endangerment, assault and fleeing from police.
