Man Accused In Lexington Gas Station Robbery Enters Not Guilty Plea

The man suspected in a Lexington gas station robbery caught on camera entered a not guilty plea in the case Thursday.

Police in Versailles arrested 24-year-old Adam Ditmore Wednesday after the alleged getaway car was found on Southland Drive in Lexington. Investigators say Ditmore and another man tried to rob the gas station Tuesday, but ran away after he and the other suspect were beaten by a clerk with their own weapon.

A surveillance camera caught the attempted holdup at the BP on Clays Mill Road. Lexington Police say Ditmore and his accomplice also robbed the Marathon station on Nicholasville Road.
