A man accused of hitting a teen while illegally passing a Rowan County school bus now faces another count of wanton endangerment.

Scottie Ingle, 30, is charged with second-degree assault and two counts of wanton endangerment. Christopher Olvera, 13, had to have surgery on his leg after being hit while crossing Highway 519.

Ingle entered a not guilty plea to all three charges Friday. He is due back in court on May 3.
