A Boyle County man lands in jail after allegedly threatening his family with a knife.
According to the Advocate Messenger, police say Joshua Thomas' family called for help after he threatened them outside their home. Once officers got there, Thomas was inside with children and holding a large hunting knife. When police told him to drop the knife, they say he started coming towards them and they had to use a taser on him.
Danville Police Chief says Thomas was intoxicated at the time. Thomas is being held at the Boyle County Jail.
