Police in Bourbon County said a man was arrested after he barricaded himself in a house and fired a shot at an officer.
The standoff began around 11 p.m. Thursday at a house on Ridgeway Drive in Paris. We're told the suspect, Michael Walker, barricaded himself inside and fired a shot at an officer. The officer was not hit and returned fire. Police said as they surrounded the house, Walker fired another shot.
No one was hurt.
Kentucky State Police negotiators were called in and eventually were able to get Walker to surrender.
No word yet on what charges Walker faces.
