A Franklin County man has been arrested for a home invasion robbery Tuesday night in which police say he forced his way into the home with a baseball bat.
The incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. at a home on Woodlake Road. The victim reported that a male suspect armed with a baseball bat forced his way into the residence and demanded money. When the victim was unable to produce any money, police say the suspect took a 37 inch television and fled the scene.
Through investigation, Deputies were able to identify Joshua B. Sams, 27, of Frankfort as the suspect. He was charged with first-degree robbery, and is being held in the Franklin County Regional Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
Police say the stolen television was recovered.
