Police in Georgetown on Wednesday arrested a man suspected of robbing a check cashing business, and are now checking to see if he might be a suspect in a similar robbery recently.

Eldra Alonzo Whitney, 25, is accused of robbing the Georgetown Cash Express on Main Street at about 12:30 p.m. with a knife. Police say a neighbor saw him acting suspiciously, wrote down his license plate number and called police.

Police are checking to see if Whitney also held up a Cash Express near the Georgetown Walmart recently.
