The man accused of packing a gun into a Casey County church returned there Sunday asking for forgiveness.
Back in 2010, Harold Goode rode his horse to Ellisburg Baptist Church to confront one of its members. He was drunk, armed with a gun and interrupted the sermon. The pastor called police and Goode was arrested.
Two years after that incident, Goode returned to the church seemingly a different man. "I've asked the Lord for forgiveness and I would like to ask you all for forgiveness of the way I come into your church two years ago," he said.
The pastor says the church accepted his apology and he believes Goode may join the church.
