A man currently in jail charged with a 2010 murder of a retired Scott County school bus driver could be facing more charges.
LEX 18 has learned that Kentucky State Police recently searched the homes of relatives of Nic Willinger looking for evidence of child pornography on computers.
Willinger is in the Scott County Detention Center charged in the murder of Sue Jones back in February of 2010 at her home.
Court documents show Ciji Jefferson, who is also charged in the case, told Willinger that Jones had money in her house. The documents further state that Jefferson, who grew up just up the street from Jones and rode her school bus, was with Willinger the night he went to Jones' home and beat the woman to death. Jefferson and Willinger, then, reportedly shared the stolen property.
LEX 18 has learned the two may not be the only people who will be charged in the case. Police are looking into other people who may have known about the murder, but didn't tell anyone.
Jefferson remains jailed in Florida until she is extradited to Kentucky.
