The ex-husband of a western Kentucky woman has been charged with her murder.

Police caught up with 54-year-old Robert McConahie in Nashville, Tennessee. He's charged with the New Year's Eve death of 52-year old Wendy Cook of Graves County.

Cook was babysitting her grandchildren when investigators say McConahie entered her home and strangled her while the children were sleeping.
