Man Charged In Junction City Robberies Suspect In Holdup Near Centre College

Police arrested a man and charged him in connection with two robberies in Junction City over the weekend, and they say he is a suspect in a robbery near the Centre College campus early Saturday morning.

Police arrested Josh Snow, 26, and charged him with two counts of robbery. Police say he held up a Hardees and a Dollar General store on Sunday night. Officers caught him when he returned to the Dollar General.

Police say two students were walking from the Speedway on West Walnut Street toward the Centre College fraternity houses around 3 a.m. Saturday when a man with a white bandana covering his face approached. He pulled a gun and forced the two victims to go to a nearby ATM and withdraw money.

Police have not charged Snow in connection with the Danville robbery, but say they consider him a suspect and continue to investigate.
