Police arrested a man and charged him with DUI after a vehicle left a big mess along a downtown Lexington street early Friday morning.

Police say officers noticed debris from several flower pots and a street lamp taken out by a crash along East Vine Street, near Main Street, around 2:30 a.m. There was no vehicle in sight.

A short time later, officers found a badly damaged pickup truck about three miles away on Richmond Road. They say the man was driving along with a flat tire.
