A man charged with stabbing his girlfriend will face a judge for an arraignment Monday.

According to court documents, Jesse Gill, 22, confessed to stabbing his girlfriend in the chest Friday. Police say the wound punctured the victim's lung.

Police arrested Gill Friday afternoon and charged him with assault.
