Just over 24 hours into gun season for deer hunting in Kentucky and a hunter is killed in an accidental shooting.

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officials say 38-year-old Ryan Henderson was killed around 8:15 Sunday morning in Ballard County.

Henderson was out hunting with a friend when the two were climbing over a fence and a rifle went off and hit Henderson in the head.

He was killed instantly.
