Firefighters had to get the owner of an ice cream store out of the freezer after the door got jammed early Monday morning.

Officials say the owner of the Baskin Robbins in the Lansdowne Shops on Tates Creek Road went into the walk-in freezer around midnight to check inventory and the door accidentally shut. When the man hit the panic button, the door wouldn't open because it was jammed by a ramp leading inside. After about 20 minutes in minus-10 degree temperatures wearing only a sweater and pants, he managed to push the door open far enough to stick his cell phone out and get a signal.

Firefighters responded and moved the ramp.

The owner was not hurt.
