A man who suffered life-threatening injuries after he was allegedly assaulted in Jessamine County Monday night died Wednesday.
Police were called to Silverleaf Drive in Lexington at about 8 p.m. Monday. Police say the victim, James Dean Wallace, 32, of Lexington, was driven to the Lexington home after the alleged assault. Police say Curtis Flora got into an argument with Wallace at a home on Vince Road in Jessamine County and then allegedly punched Wallace multiple times in the head.
Wallace was taken to UK Hospital, where police say he was listed critical condition before his death Wednesday afternoon.
Flora was arrested and originally charged with first-degree assault. Those charges are expected to be upgraded.
