One person suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Lexington early Thursday morning.
Police say the driver of a car heading outbound along Harrodsburg Road lost control around 3 a.m. near the intersection with Man O' War. The car went off the roadway and slammed into a light pole. When emergency crews arrived, they found a person sitting outside the car and another man in the median. EMS took him to UK Hospital. Officials called his injuries non-life threatening.
Police shut down Harrodsburg Road for a time as crews cleared the scene. It has since been reopened.
Investigators say they think speed was a factor, but they have not determined who was driving.
