A man was airlifted from the scene of a single-vehicle accident in Russell County Monday morning.

Police say Raymond Johnson, 22, lost control of his vehicle along KY-379 around 7 a.m. just outside Russell Springs. The vehicle slammed into a culvert and flipped, ejecting Johnson.

Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.

Officials did not release any information on Johnson's condition.
