Police in northern Kentucky are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a man changing a tire along I-75 early Friday morning.
LEX 18 sister station WLWT in Cincinnati reports that police say the victim was changing a tire on the right shoulder of southbound I-71/I-75 near Erlanger when a truck or SUV struck and killed him, then took off. The victim was declared dead at the scene.
Police say there were no witnesses to the accident. Investigators determined that the vehicle was likely a Toyota pickup truck or SUV. It would have sustained front passenger side damage and possible streaks of silver paint along the passenger side transferred from the victim's car. The impact could also have cracked the suspect's windshield.
Anyone with information should call Erlanger police at 859-727-2424 or Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
