One man died and five people suffered injuries in a Boyd County accident late Tuesday night.

Police say a man was driving south on KY-180 when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed into the northbound lane and slammed into a car carrying five people. The man in the first vehicle was killed. The five occupants of the second car, including two infants, suffered injuries and were taken to local hospitals.

Officials have not determined what caused the crash.
