A suspect in a nearly two-year-old murder investigation went in front of a judge Monday in Lexington.

Kenneth Wadkins entered a not guilty plea Monday in district court. He's charged with the murder of Ricardo Cole in January 2010.

Wadkins was given a public defender and is expected back in court on December 19.
