The man police say attempted to rob a Lexington bank Monday morning pleaded not guilty in the case Tuesday.

Police say Duane K. Lee walked into the Central Bank branch on Tates Creek Road Monday morning. He handed a teller a note demanding money. When she refused, Lee took off.

Officers arrested Lee a short time later inside the Kroger store at the Tates Creek Centre.
