A man charged with murder in Knott County entered a not guilty plea in the case Thursday.

Police say Jerry Combs and Eric Fugate got into a fight last month, resulting in Fugate's death. His disappearance was first reported as a missing persons case.

Police later found Combs' body after finding his abandoned truck on a road in Triplett Branch.
